7th Annual Day Out Against Crime

The Shenandoah Estate Crime Prevention and Improvement District will once again sponsor the 7th Annual Day Out Against Crime on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from noon-3:00 p.m. on the grounds of St. Andrews United Methodist. Everyone is invited to attend.

This event is an offshoot of the National Night Out Against Crime program. It is intended to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and our Sheriff’s Office community partnership;
  • Send the message that this neighborhood is fighting back against crime.
  • Residents and their children are encouraged to attend. They can enjoy meeting members of the Shenandoah Estates Crime Prevention and Improvement District Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors of the Shenandoah Homeowners Association. Attendees Meet deputies from around the parish who will be displaying special equipment and their units.

    Members of the St. George Fire Department will also be displaying one of their trucks and other equipment. We will have giant inflatables, as well as a variety of free foods including hot dogs, chips, cookies, and chili, as well as jambalaya provided by Cortana Kiwanis and ice cream provided by Red River Bank’s unique ice cream truck. Join us for a fun, family community afternoon.
