Richard Leggett will present information on his latest book “Curtain of Silence”
On Wednesday, July 9, 6:30 PM, come hear the fascinating story of Maria, a Ukrainian war prisoner, and her resilience and determination to survive after being captured by Hitler and sent to Germany as a forced laborer. Maria’s daughter, Jeanie Howell, will share pictures and a personal account. Refreshments will be provided by the Ladies of St. Andrew’s.
